"Maleficent" lets Disney portray a form of date rape
Finally watched “Maleficent,” Disney’s bastardization — er, re-imagining of their version of the “Sleeping Beauty” story.
Overall I enjoyed the movie. Angelina Jolie was a perfect casting choice, portraying Maleficent’s evil as expertly as she portrayed her angst and (spoiler) redemption.
