Snakes

Snakes 

There is a garden amongst
These cement walls
Amongst all these people
And buildings
There is a garden of trees
And flowers
Where kittens roam
And snakes fall from tree branches
But there is nothing to fear
The snakes are the friends
Of the kittens
The snakes won’t bite you
They only eat flowers
I wanted to kill them too
But then I saw them
Playing with the kittens
And munching on flowers
