So he comes striding into my study with a scowl.

M: Why did you do that to your characters?

Me:  What?

M: You know.

Me: Oh, did you finish Endless Forest?

M: I don't see why you had to kill everybody off.

Me: Um, the year is 2010.  They all died what, 200 years ago?

M: Hmpf. It was too sad.
