Learning to Grump

I was lucky enough to win the new Grumpy Cat book, The Grumpy Guide to Life, from my pals at Cat Wisdom 101. And I am very glad I did because I have a big problem: I am not grumpy! In fact, I have no idea how to be grumpy at all. I’m a happy kitten who likes to make humans and other kitties happy! Clearly, I am sorely lacking in this area.

Although this book is available on Kindle, I really recommend getting it in hardcover because it makes such a nice little gift book! It has a die cut cover to frame the picture of Grumpy cat, and slick full-color pages with cool layouts and lots of photos of Grumpy Cat. There are sayings like, “The best things in life are annoying” and “Don’t forget: Every silver lining is part of a larger, darker cloud.”

Can you tell how hard I am working at taking Grumpy Cat’s philosophy to heart?

So how am I doing? Do I look grumpy enough?

I’m sorry, Grumpy Cat, I can’t do it! I think there are some good lessons here, if you want to have fun learning how to be grumpy, but apparently I have no gift for grumpiness! If you want to give it a try, you can always buy Grumpy Cat’s book from Amazon.
