Reading this post made me cry tears of happiness. It's so nice to hear stories like this. I wish we had something like this in Canada. When I down sized my library last year I tried to donate my books to my local library and they wouldn't take them. Most of the books had only been read once but the library said they weren't taking donations anymore because they were going the digital direction. I was starting to worry that many books would end up in landfills until my local thrift store took them. I hope more charities like this pop up!
