 Welcome to Saturday Spankings! Wow, it's certainly been a while since I've participated in SatSpanks and I am excited to be here. Maybe, just maybe, I'll be back next week. I seem to have a problem with blogging lately and I am trying to push through my "I don't wanna write a blog post!" phase. Anyway, enough rambling. In the following scene from Marry Me in Montana, Amy is trying to convince her terribly old-fashioned fiancé that they should consummate their marriage a little early:


“But two days early won’t matter.” She crossed her arms and glared at the snow piling up on the window.

“It matters to me, sweetheart.” He turned her head, tipping her chin up and forcing her to meet his gaze. God, she really loved this man, even though he was frustratingly stubborn sometimes. “I’ve made a lot of mistakes in my life, and darlin’ you were once wronged by the kind of man I used to be,” he said, referring to her ex-husband. “I want to do this the right way. Marriage first. And then”—his voice lowered—“I will make you my wife in every sense of the word.”
