Miss Simone, how would I go about pitching a character to companies like DC or Vertigo? I have a series in mind already and would love the chance to have it published.

To be honest, it is almost impossible to cold-pitch to DC or Marvel. They don’t accept unsolicited submissions.

What you have to do is get work printed elsewhere first and take that to them. It’s unfortunate, but that is pretty much the only way in at this time.
