My writing spree got interrupted. I had planned to be further along with the writing, but then I had to go and think - a silly action that always happens when I'm on the treadmill. A bit of exercise and voila! I have brainwaves! Well, this one was little, but turned into a huge brainwave the moment I researched the idea. That led to a bit of editing, a bit more research, more editing and more research. But... I'm soooooo pleased with this key-element that just got refined!

Hmm... It's a good--astute--comment about keeping the characters fresh. Yes, it is a challenge, but so far not too hard since there is still a lot of development left in each of them. As for the series... I am most definitely not weary of Genevieve and the gang. Not yet. I can't predict how many more adventures they'll go on, but while they maintain their freshness and there are interesting cases for them to follow, I'll be their mouthpiece.

Curious, do you find yourself getting at all weary with this series or do you see yourself continuing on for a few more? (she asks wistfully) It has to be hard, though, once you have plumped out the characters, to keep them crisp and interesting. So far, so good.
