Fracking in Scotland and Fables of Doom

I spend my time quietly writing stories that celebrate the beauty of the Scottish landscape I live in. This is my adopted country, and it's where my children were born.

It's a country which has had a tragic history in years gone by.

Now it's just got even more tragic and no one really saw it coming.

The Referendum came and went. Now that it's all over, suddenly we learn that Westminster are granting licenses for companies to begin fracking within the Central Belt of Scotland in less than a month. Fracking poisons the water table, causes earthquakes as well as other untold damage.

I think our selkies are not going to survive this one!
