Okay, so the last two weeks have been all about stress, family, stress. But we are happy to report that life is slowly getting back to normal. We thank everyone for your concern and kind words. They have helped us through this difficult time. On that note, Up in Smoke, Texas Vampire Rangers 2 release date is being postponed until November. I'll have an exact date for you within the next couple of weeks.
Now, bad news over and the rest is good, we promise! We have a very busy schedule coming up for the month of October. As Halloween happens to be one of our favorite holidays, be sure to stop by our website after October 1st, as we are giving the front page a "Halloween Facelift" including music, pics, and fun! We have several other surprises for you throughout the month of October, so stay with us!
For those of you who follow us on facebook, JK Publishing is doing a month long event to raise awareness for breast cancer. Each day a different author will be on the site giving our fans several chances to win prizes throughout the day. So come join us! Also, be prepared to stock up on some good books as several of our authors (Lady V and I included) have certain books that are being reduced to $.99 for the month of October. Proceeds for these books are going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. So, if you've been waiting to buy that book....the month of October may be the time to do so!

Hi everyone! It feels like ages since we've been able to chat with you all! I know, it's only been two weeks, but it seems sooooo much longer! So, I hope everyone has been well. I see our lovely creators have told you about this wonderful cause they are supporting about breast cancer awareness for the month of October. We dragons want to get involved also, as we understand the seriousness of this. So, keep an eye out on our fan page (https://www.facebook.com/dragonsofdragonose) for ways you can get involved.
One of the things that we are planning to start back up October 1 is our evening riddle/question for a chance to win prizes. This will be done several nights a week throughout the month, so get ready!--Sapphamire
Book Quote of the Week: Our book quote comes from the Christmas story currently being worked on, tentatively named, "Santa Vampire"
He knew she hadn’t realized he was approaching her, she was still crying as she lovingly caressed….baby clothes? This lady had robbed the second hand store for baby clothes, toys, and other items he really wasn’t sure what they were used for. What the hell? Was she really that hard up?

We feel really bad that we were unable to do this last week. To make it up to everyone, we are not holding one contest, or even two contests. No, we are going to give you three different chances at winning prizes! Each riddle or question will have it's own prize attached to it. Separate winners will be drawn for each set. All correct answers will be considered and a winner will be pulled randomly from each set. Hi everyone! Can anyone help me? My humans keep telling me that it is almost my 1-year old birthday. They say that I am getting presents and a cupcake, which all sounds good to me; but I don't understand what this "birthday" thing they keep talking about. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Well, my birthday as near as anyone can tell is Oct. 1 (at least that is the day we are celebrating it). I am still not sure what to expect, but since the humans are excited about it, I figure I better be also. I sure hope it turns out fun! Wonder what kind of cupcake I am going to get? And what color icing? I'll be sure to post pics next week of the party!
