Ban My Book! Please.

September is banned books month at Paperbacks and Pieces (and all over the nation too) DSCN7739 during which we feature all the titles that “they” have banned from some readership or another, or altogether for everyone.  I’d like to be in that company. Well known and well read, too.  If LISTENER were a children’s book, it would be banned, I suppose.  BUT THE COMPANY! Look closely.
DSCN7736 Crystal prevailed at the store with welcomes, water and wifi help. She’s a face-booker (did you know pages can’t be friends?)  She is a delight.
Shelly kept me apprised of industry opportunities and shepherded customers my way DSCN7733 . We moved books (out the door) and nearly cleared the display.

DSCN7737I think we left the sandwich board on the curb for the night, but “no one steals anything in Winona,” a customer told us. Seems they (a different “they”) banned theft some years back.

Thank you for a great afternoon, Paperbacks and Pieces! Go purple.
