Literally anything and everything. By that point I'd probably be considered an animal and have lost everything that gives me humanity, but if it meant that those I loved survived, I wouldn't care what I'd have to become to ensure that. This is one of my favorite apocalyptic stories of all time. Most people consider me a little twisted for enjoying this story so much, given how dark it is, but I truly feel like it's one of the most realistic depictions of what life would have to be like.

I agree Nikki. The Road depicts a post apocalyptic world in a believable and realistic way. This is the one book that's affected me in a very profound way long after I finished it.
