When you’re an author, you get used to looking at time a little differently than everyone else. When I’m writing a conversation between characters, only a few minutes may pass in the scene while a half hour passes in real time. And since I’ve been writing a ton of words lately, I seem to spend an increasing amount of time in character time instead of real time.
