THE AUDACITY OF HOPE

4288b829-9038-4144-a59f-51bfe97c3e6fIt’s 12:32 a.m. here on the East Coast of America… the  Florida night is packed with thick, dark clouds, and the torrent of the rain pounds at the roof of my modest home in Belleair.

I love the rain, it washes away the sins of mankind, a cleansing of renewal, offering a new beginning when the streets are washed clean and the soul senses a reinvigorating hope.

Life… no matter what it throws at the human spirit, we bounce back and fight for anotherMARCH-2013-0702-146x195.jpg dream, reaching into that vast soul of courage to continue the good fight. I often state, a historical quote :

“That which does not kill us makes us stronger.”

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche (1844-1900)

I’m a big believer in redemption… and support the old adage that it doesn’t matter how many times a person is knocked down, but how many times he picks himself up to fight another day. No matter what you face in life, you have to keep on chasing that elusive dream, you’ve got to have that fire.

A friend of mind told me the Town of Belleair has me listed as one of their famous resident on their Wikipedia page… really? Famous? Little old me?

I’m flattered to be there, just one name below the infamous Hulk Hogan. Seeing things like that, I smile in the deep recesses of my spirit, grateful for the recognition, and hoping that one day I can live up to the hype.

So as I pound out these sentiments on my trusted custom Dell laptop, this is my pledge to

862992_10200845378435729_1125129200_n-146x195.jpg the fans of my work who have my back… the ones who buy the books and encourage the plight of a future that lies ahead.

I am humbled by every person who reads my work and sends me a note, or posts, a four and five star review.

It means the world to me, and this is me saying thanks.

The only thing that matter to me, is remaining an amazing writer with clear concise stories to tickle your curiosity. It will be a cold day in hell when I ever turn out anything other than perfection, and I love you all for your well wishes.

Have a great weekend everyone, I love you all very much.
