Jake in Space Launch Blast Off

Launching the book of another author is a privilege. Blasting (launching) the entire series is another level – it's an honour!

Last weekend I was honoured and privileged to have been asked by my friend and fellow Gold Coast author, Candice Lemon-Scott to launch her new series, Jake in Space (New Frontier) at Black Cat Books in Brisbane.

The Jake in Space series will be a sure-fire winner with the 7-8 year-old readers in your home. Set in space and filled with fast-paced action, drama and engaging characters, both boys and girls will love this series of six books. Ready to interview CandiceMy suit got a bit burnt on my re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere. That's one of the drawbacks of living on the Moon – that and the fact that there are no bookshops. But the Earth's gravity is such a drag – I look so much younger on the Moon. Plus there's Slooper Goo there to keep the wrinkles at bay.

It was slooper goo fun!
