I realized I may be able to address some of my concerns without leaving LJ entirely; perhaps in this case, 'and' is better than 'or'.

That being said, I am going to take some time to do some longer thought pieces elsewhere - probably Medium - where they can be seen by a larger audience, without the bigger context of roughly 10 years worth of blog entries; there's been a lot of water under the bridge, you know?
