How can I help?

I’m a published author now. What exactly does that mean? It means that I put a lot of time and effort into writing two novels. It means my husband and I invested money in my dream.

Now the hard part begins. Trying to get my novels in the hands of those that will be inspired by them. That’s where you my friends and family come in.

Maybe my genre of contemporary inspirational romance and mystery doesn’t interest you. Maybe my writing style is not your favourite. But you can still help me realize the next part of my dream. Here’s how!

Ten things you can do to help an author promote their work:

1. Buy the book!

2. Read the work!

3. Provide positive feedback to the author!

4. Make suggestions on improving TO the author!

5. Post a positive review for other prospective buyers on amazon, goodreads and facebook.

6. Share a post or book link on social media.

7. Encourage the author when they stumble.

8. Diffuse drama, to avoid negative publicity for the author.

9. Be a beta reader at the early stages of writing.

10. Be there for the author on release day. Provide support.
