I keep track of everything. Yes, I'm nerdy like that. It always takes me quite some time to get into the momentum of writing a new book. I'm pleased that I've progressed this much in 2 weeks, but it's still slower than my usual pace.
If I go by past experiences, next week I'll gain momentum, but will still fit into some form of 'normal'. Then I'll get into writing-machine mode and walk around in a bit of a haze. Food and sleep will lose importance, baths and showers will gain importance (I function better when I'm squeaky clean). Coffee will replace my blood and my friends will remind me to eat. And I will love every minute of it!! :-D :-D
