Extract

No soul, no matter how bad it is, can be held onto indefinitely by a demon. One of my jobs as a Watcher Angel is to ensure that demons do not abuse their powers and that the war they wage against mankind is a fair one, confined to the rules set out when the Devil, fuelled by his arrogance, failed to bow down before Adam upon his completion. The creature, also known as Satan, asked God for permission to prove that he and his kind were superior to mankind, and that man was weak and easily manipulated. And so started the war between demons and men with the angels appointed overseers, centuries before my birth, and still there is no end in sight. All I know is that before I was an angel I was a woman and I loved a man named Simon. This war that separated us for centuries has somehow made our paths once again meet, and it couldn’t have been by accident or coincidence; nothing ever is. (This extract is from my latest novel...due to be released soon)

Jane Swan Wow...this sounds like it's going to be epic...it's obviously very romantic...I liked the way you weaved love into the background of Fourteen Million to One...

Thanks Jane...love is usually a topic which I explore in most of my stories either as a main theme or a sub-plot. My work is about life and what would life be without love? I think the new book will be out by the end of this month. Thanks so much for your support Jane.
