Hilola was working herself up into a fairly agitated state. Her nose ran and she sniffed hard and wiped the tears from her eyes. She went on. “But Ramon keeps tellin’ me I’m fine and he loves me just as I am and he don’t act like he’s getting’ sick of me at all. And, Señor, I ain’t too old for babies, I know that. And I think I’m goin’ to be makin’ you a grandpa soon.”
