Casting The Sanctum Trilogy – Wyatt
Last week, the Daily Post presented readers with the chance to cast their favorite television show and it got me thinking it would be fun to do the same with The Sanctum Trilogy.
For one, it’s a great way to interact with readers and two, it’s just freaking fun to play casting director every so often.
The first post was all about badass bitch numero uno, Dev. Lots of good suggestions were thrown out there, my personal favorite being model Jodie Smith, there was some funny chatter, and then I gave up my choice to play Dev:

So now let’s have some fun with one of the guys, starting with my personal favorite, Wyatt Clayworth.

Yeah, Wyatt's tough. When I first did that interview and Kayti asked me about casting Wyatt, I gave her one guy and then later, as I got deeper into writing THE BOY, I changed it. You might have seen on Facebook that my hilarious friend, Frank, thinks he should play Wyatt. Which, of course, if Wyatt was Black and 60, I would TOTALLY pick Frank. Sadly, Frank's going to have to keep living in his dream world where Halle plays Dev to his Wyatt.
I did see that Frank nominated himself LOL. I still haven't come up with the perfect Wyatt... There are a lot of criteria in my head! ;)
It's hard to cast Wyatt. If he was in his mid twenties, I would say Jared Padalecki. That might be because in the first book the dynamic between him and Ryker reminded me a bit of the Winchester brothers.
