FIVE THINGS I’VE LEARNED AS AN AUTHOR

As an author, I have learned many things. Here are five of them:

The Reader is the most important person in a book’s life.

Next to readers, the most important people in the creation of a novel are Beta Readers. They cut out all the parts that need to be trimmed.

Characters backtalk and talk back.

And sometimes, get a little rowdy if they think I’m not listening!

There is a good use for sleepless nights!

I now have an excuse for excessive reading.
