This is a book that validates months of that ghastly thing called waiting.
It’s a sort of novel that makes me want to convert the non-readers of the world, so that I can then push this series on them and spend the rest of this year fangirling with every being that I meet.
In short, Day Break is fantastic.
The story takes the most exhilarating and poignant of turns, managing to be both an efficacious follow-up of Dusk and an impeccable read. It’s incredibly well thought-out. Every scene makes sense, every turmoil feels entirely necessary, and every piece of dialogue is seamless and well integrated into the story. Heather Kirchhoff's writing is simple and clear - effective in ways that even the most extravagant and complicated of styles don't always manage to be – never failing to build a stark and picturing the characters. It’s a perfect follow up for Dusk.
I am utterly in love with Magic series and is forcing even more people to read it. In the meantime, I’ll be indulged in waiting for the next in Magic series.

Heather Kirchhoff lives in a small town in Missouri with her three parents, siblings, a dog, and a stray cat. She became a bookworm back in sixth grade when her teacher suggested the Phantom Stallion series by Terri Farley and instantly fell in love. She loves reading paranormal stories, plus some love ones here and there. Writing is her passion-it helps her escape the world for a while, as well as reading-she doesn’t know what she’d do without it. She just loves it.
