An Ethical Conundrum For Writes?

Do individuals have a right for their medical records to remain private after death, or can public interest prevail?

Good question in the light of recent news.  I believe the answer is yes, if the subject of the medical records was a public personality and is is no longer alive it's OK.  Another words, the subject of the medical records will not be adding to his medical records any time soon, so, what's the harm?
