Saddle Up--Way, Way Up

So I was ten years old and starting horseback riding lessons. I was thrilled. There were maybe ten kids in the class, and nine horses for us. Every other kid was in the saddle before me.

Then they brought in what I was supposed to ride, and I soon figured out why it took so long for them to bring my mount. They'd had to construct a time machine to bring in a brachiosaurus. Seriously, that was the largest horse I've ever seen.
