The Better Mousetrap

It has been said; Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door. Well, this may be true if the world finds out about it.

So it is with books-many a great work has been gathering dust, lost in a pile of overwork and underpaid on some desk whose occupant may never have the time to spot it in the constant ebb and flow of the manilla sea.

A Best Seller is often not just a great story but a fortunate one; rescued from the ocean of envelopes by good fortune and borne along on the winds of experienced marketing announcing it's impending arrival as it rounds the Cape of Good Hope.

But those were the good old days. Today's Internet has learned to ride the waves on sites like Facebook and Twitter, Goodreads and Amazon; more authors have a chance of being discovered instead of being marooned on desert islands with nothing but a better mousetrap.

Today saw the launch of my new Facebook author's page and the recent release of my new book, Jupiter's Children now has the opportunity to sail the world and find new ports of call. But some things haven't changed and one of them is the need to tell people about it; and you have the opportunity to participate in the process. Would you take a moment to share my new page with your friends? Perhaps even buy a copy and tell us how you liked it. I promise I will do my best to entertain you with this book and my future works as well.

The world may not beat a path to my door but at least it will have the opportunity to make the decision.
