Being an author can be very isolating at times. You sit and stare at your keyboard and talk to imaginary friends. You laugh and cry and vent via email and Facebook chat with other authors at their own home computers doing the same, but yet, you’re still in pajamas. Probably with your hair in a bun and cans of Diet Mountain Dew scattered around you…

Either way, it can get lonely, and that’s why I LOVE attending conferences. For me, 2014 has been a year of ALL THE EVENTS, and...
