The Slow Walk to the New World Order of Beyond Mars Crimson Fleet

The US is buying custom-made vans packed with something called backscatter X-ray machines. The mobile X-ray technology works by bouncing narrow X-ray streams off an object like a car and then analyzing the scatter rate of the returning rays. Operators can then locate less-dense objects that could be bodies, bombs or other objects of interest. However, radiation is still radiation, meaning enough exposure can cause cancer while possibly wreaking havov on electronic devices.

So what does this mean?  Do you like being under constant surveillance, where every gesture, every word ... and in the future every thought is monitored and uploaded to a data system to create a model citizen?  Welcome to the "New World Order" of Beyond Mars Crimson Fleet.
