Shamblers: the zombie apocalypse – First Month Overview

Hi fans and readers,

I just wanted to supply a new update: it has been exactly one month (well, give or take a day) since the release of Shamblers: the zombie apocalypse.

I wanted to provide some insight for everyone as to how it’s doing. The answer is: very.very well.

I have seen 1,760 free downloads on the promotional days I’ve had. It has had 28 users borrow it from the Kindle Lending Library. It has also had 12 eBooks sell. It has also sold at least 8 paperback copies, including the ones I have personally sold to people.

That is a total of over 1,800 copies of Shamblers in 30 days! At it’s peak, Shamblers had a promo day of 1,279 downloads. It also hit #4 in Horror and #4 in Thriller categories on Amazon and it ranked #152 overall: that is out of over 2 million books! I want to thank everyone who now has a copy.

This is obviously AWESOME news. What is even better is that Shamblers has been getting rave reviews from fans. It has picked up a number of stellar 5-star reviews. This makes me so happy that I don’t have words to describe it. Included in the reviews are comments like the following:

“Compared to all the other zombie literature this has to be one of the best ones I’ve read.”

“A really great story. Read it without stopping.”

“Nice twist at the end. I very much enjoyed this gritty, treacherous, unflinching view of the zompoc. I think you will too.”

This is a very exciting August for me! I hope it leads to a huge  September and October!
