How do you move on from a past lover that vigorously broke you into pieces, That now you're hardly able to move on because you are stuck on them. You still love them despite all they have done to hurt you, lie to you and such?

Well, you can either remain in the memory of what you had or you can, you know, move on. If someone can easily lie to you and just as easily hurt you, why would you want to stick around? Why would you want to support that person when they obviously don’t care about supporting you and only are looking out for themselves? That’s not love. Or at least that doesn’t sound like it to me. And you’re better than that. You deserve more than that. You seem to have a lot of love and trust to give to someone and you have hope, so why not give that to someone who will give it to you in return? Why keep holding on to someone who wants to be let go, or is asking for you to remove them from your life? If they really cared, really wanted to keep what you have going, they would fight for it. They wouldn’t give up because the weight felt like too much or because it was just too tiring. When you love someone, you don’t give up. You stay strong because you know it’s what’s best for the both of you, not just one of you.
