I guess I should say some stuff

I should say I'll be at the Barnes & Noble, Union Square, new York City, next Thursday at 7 pm. Signing. With Neil Gaiman, Jessica Abel, Matt Madden, and Gabrielle Bell. Why? Because we all had something to do with this year's BEST AMERICAN COMICS (Gaiman/Abel/Madden are the editors, GB and I have stories/excerpts in it).

The New York Comic Con is that weekend (Oct 7-10) but I won't be there because I have to fly back to LA for a wedding. I may hover at the Oni booth a bit on Friday afternoon, so if you want to see me in NYC outside of the B&N signing, that's your only potential opportunity.

Here are some links of note:

Scott Pilgrim's Finest Hour (and the series in general) got a nice review in the New York Times Book Review: nyti.ms/btojP1

Review of LOST AT SEA (2003) in the New York Times (well, a blog from the NYT): nyti.ms/cahMDq

"The Dungeon Master" is a great short story by Sam Lipsyte in the New Yorker that I read the other day: nyr.kr/c38Rxf

Here's that new trailer for the Coen Bros' TRUE GRIT: bit.ly/a7X1s4

And here's a sneak preview of the new poster that's going to be folded in to the SCOTT PILGRIM BOX SET, coming out in late November. This is a box set of volumes 1-6 (the whole series) with new box art by myself and Paul Robertson. The poster will be folded in to the box. It's a nice big poster, not a stupid little poster.
