Yes, I have been woefully neglectful of this blog. But there is a good reason for it.
This is how it always goes. I have a book due October 1st (Blood of Eden). So, of course my publisher has also sent copy edits for my next release, Darkest Fire, also due October 1st. ACK! Plus, I'm trying to finish up my costume for RomantiCon. And get some promo stuff together. And get ready for the big launch of my writing contest! *dabbing sweaty forehead*
Good news: The copy edits on Darkest Fire are DONE. I reread the book, and I am thinking it is one hell of a good story. It's super-hot but also tender. I hope it strikes a chord with readers!
More good news: I've received some feedback on Blood of Eden and am finishing up the revisions. The book will be turned in on time. YAY!
That leaves me with…a dress that's not finished, promo stuff that needs to be organized, including one hundred little excerpt cards that need to be folded and a gift basket to wrap. Oh, and there's the contest I need to prepare for too.
I can do it!
