Thank you, Paul. It's definitely worth a look, and I think you'll enjoy it. Just be prepared for a slower start and I imagine you'll enjoy it even more.

I will say that for this type of setting (guns and stuff), I much preferred Promise of Blood to this book. It's a bit faster, the characters are simply amazing, and it's got some great magic.

Paul Promise of Blood looks really interesting too. I do like books that try to do something different with traditional fantasy and add industrialised elements to it. I've been struggling to find something really good to read recently so will definitely give these a try.
