Switching Things Up

I've been thinking about this for a long time now, and I've finally done it. I don't know of any other author who has tried this, and I'm hoping that it will be a success. My first self-published little story, Up in Flames was mainly written to give readers a taste of my writing style. It was also my way of testing the waters of self-publishing, a big step where the author is basically in control of everything with regard to the book. Between Amazon, Smashwords, Barnes and Nobles it has received 80 reviews and is rated a solid four out of five stars.
Anyone who's read the story knows that both main characters are white. I've been wanting to try something that I sure hope doesn't offend anyone, or wind up biting me in the butt. If it does what I hope it does it will be worth taking this step.

I decided to offer Up in Flames as a multicultural erotic romance under the name Touch Me. The new cover speaks for itself, and I've added a disclaimer to let readers know that if they read Up in Flames they will want to pass on this story. With a few minor changes I turned my heroine into a beautiful, African American woman. The story is the same. I'm really interested in knowing what you think about this idea.
Up in Flames is still available.
