As an aspiring author, I'm currently writing a trilogy I am hoping to be published, would you say that trilogies are harder to get published as a first time novelist than just one single book?

The unhelpful (but nonetheless true)version of this answer is that no one kind of book or series (be it a trilogy, dystopian, standalone contemporary, or softcore were-toaster erotica) is easier or harder to get published if it’s GOOD.
