Reviews do matter, quite a bit. As you know, I dipped my toe into the Google Play site this year. So far, my conversion rates there are abysmal (conversion rate == number of free downloads who go onto buy part 2). I’m pretty sure the fact that I don’t have a lot of reviews there is the reason.
