This is my first blog post on Goodreads. How cool is that?
A little about myself? Alrighty then.
I was born and raised in Las Vegas (the famous one, not the tiny one in New Mexico...although I have been there and it is quite quaint).
Besides being an author, I am also a high school teacher and have been for 22 years.
I love chocolate. Seriously. LOVE it. (that, by the way, is a HUGE hint to my future students)
And...I love to read. My favorite is children's fiction, although I do dabble in YA and the occasional sci-fi. Mystery is pretty cool once in a while (I especially dig Agatha Christie...super Old School). I have read ONE romance. ONE. Enough said.
