Long time no see!

I know, I know, but I've been on my summer holiday, and frankly, we all need breaks from the internet now and again, no?  If you said no, maybe you should seek some gentle help.

Part of that holiday was in Barcelona, where I also did a whole lot of work on the A Monster Calls film!  It's amazing, the stuff the filmmakers are doing, wait 'til you see.  Shooting starts in eight weeks!  Out in 2016 (lots of effects work to do).

Upcoming events include two at the Edinburgh Festival on 16 August.  First a book event for More Than This (and all my other books, too), and then I'm very honored to give the first ever Siobhan Dowd Memorial Lecture.  Come along!

And as I said before, if you are a Deutsche Leser, then I'm at the Berlin Literature Festival in September for a WHOLE BUNCH of things, including the Children's Program Keynote Address.  Come along if you're in my favourite world city!
