Kaje, I could have SWORN I answered this within an hour of you posting it, with something like: "KAJE! How ARE you??" But now it isn't here and is this an Alzheimer's moment? (shouldn't joke about that, it runs in my family). I wonder if I forgot to hit post??So anyway. Thanks! And how have you been? :)

I'm doing well, editing frantically, rewarding myself periodically with some reading or writing time. I will give myself your book when I get the current novel edits sent back *grumble, grumble, rewriting last chapter...*
I haven't seen you around much either, although my family history is equally disquieting. I hope you're having a good summer.
But you are being so remarkably successful, the *grumble grumble rewrite* tactic must work wonders! Okay. Maybe not for blood pressure, but...:D
I just read your blog post on going to Rochester and that sounded so wonderful and uplifting. :)
It was good - a new experience and definitely some interesting and admirable people that we met. I'm glad I got a little out of my comfort zone and went.I can't complain about the writing - well, I can but shouldn't. I'm just not fond of editing, and I have a novel stalled with about 10K left to write while I edit the rest of the queue, which makes me itch to get back to it. But yes, in general I'm having a lot of fun with it. (I got to do Sci Fi/paranormal for my latest freebie, which was a blast.)
I love your writing, so it's an insta-buy.I love your donating to causes, too. And what you said about paying a fair price for authors' work when it's their living.
And slow burn? Lovely. I love the buildup of nuances of a relationship. This will suit perfectly.
I like hot stuff too, but make me care about the characters first, or it's just p0rn.
Sue, thank you for such kind words! Yes, this one does move more slowly than most m/m, so it will almost surely not be as popular as others. But here is hoping that it suits you wonderfully. :)Oh, and I've made some good progress on the third in the last couple of days (unraveled a couple of sticky knots in the plot), so I'm feeling a bit up about that. Of course, my vacation is over soon... ah well.
