DID THE US & OBAMA ADMIN TRY TO AFFECT ELECTIONS IN IRAN?

The recent elections in Iran have resulted in demonstrations and charges of fraud over shutting down of text messaging and sites such as FaceBook. Did the US and more specifically the Obama Administration attempt to affect the elections in Iran by way of texting and the Internet?

It is interesting to see a candidate in the elections claiming that he was the victim of fraud by Iran's shutting down of texting etc... when the American people ARE the victims of fraud by the very use of text messagin
