TWO YEARS!!

It's hard to believe it's exactly two years ago that my gay romance , MEMORIZING YOU was released and I am surprised that it consistently stays in the top ten to twenty Amazon bestselling category of "Gay and Lesbian" Why am I surprised? Because I.wrote this book under the worst stress I've ever experienced in my life. I had been betrayed by my best friend and business partner of twelve years because of reasons that are well known if you read another one of my novels (try bright pink cover). Not only had he financially raped me, dumped unfinished taxes on a company we shared and that he had legally exited unknown to me, but had left me uninsured and the list goes on and on of the nastiness that was done to me. MEMORIZING was my way of dealing with the ugliness of some people's nature by recalling and rejoicing in the goodness of people, of friends, of love itself... So two years later...I still regret the horrible stuff I went thru...but I am so happy it compelled me to write something I am so completely proud of..

Phoebe Sean And proud you should be. It was the most beautifully written love story I've ever read.

Cynthia You can feel the pain you were dealing with in "the bring pink cover" book and I hate that you went through it too, but if that is what it took to create "Memorizing You" . . . wow! I cannot tell you how beautiful a story it is. I read A LOT of books and I cannot stop recommending that book. It deeply touched me. Thank you for sharing your loving thoughts with us. I look forward to the next beautiful story you write.

Irina That bastard! If it weren't for him, you'd have probably been in a better mood to create a happier ending for poor David.. It's all his fault! But Memorizing You definitely deserves to stay on a top. It's an amazing book!

Cynthia OK. I just have to say, I have been in love with Douglas Sills ever since he performed The Scarlett Pimpernel on Broadway. I know that seems random but something about your writing makes me picture him. Maybe it is just because he is so yummy but if you look at his acting . . . I don't know there is some kind of match in my mind. I'm not even sure I have matched him up to any particular character. I can't explain it.
