Guest Blog from Julia Talbot!
I'm pleased to share a guest post from Julia Talbot -- talking about her new wicked pseudonym Minerva Howe -- yay for Kink!
Hey, y’all!
The amazing Sean Michael is letting me do a post on the Sean Livejournal to talk about my newest release and my new pseudonym. Nope, I’m not looking to trash Julia Talbot. I love her very much and will put out more and more Julia books, I promise. (Look at www.torquerebooks.com for Full Moon Dating: Evgeny and Feng, available now.)
However, a lot of readers have been asking me to write BDSM. Just as many readers have said, but I don’t read BDSM, how will I know which books are which? Sure, a few of the Julia books push the line, but most everyone knows I usually park at spanking and walk the rest of the way.
So I pondered what to do, and came up with Minerva. Julia can still do sexy. Minerva is for the kink. Hence the tagline, “Stories that leave a mark.” I just loved the idea of being able to have a much harder edge without worrying about confusing folks.
My first Minerva Howe book released this week with Resplendence Press. It’s also available on Amazon and All Romance Ebooks.
Minerva was my mom’s mother’s middle name. Howe is my wife’s dad’s mom’s maiden name. These ladies are an inspiration to me, even if my grandma was crazy as a bedbug. I blame the great depression.
So, Chosen Wolf has spanking, bondage, crops, biting, fisting, and a little no-no-no-yes going for it.
Here’s all the official stuff!

Brantley is perfectly happy with his life. He has a good job, a strong wolf pack behind him, and a trip into Denver every so often to take care of his needs. So when the Pack has the kind of meeting that only happens once in a blue moon, he's more annoyed than worried. At least until the meeting turns out to be the stuff of Pack legend, with a vampire appearing to choose a new guardian from all of the eligible male wolves.
Vampire Paul has a good arrangement with the Moonlight Mountain pack. He gets to choose a wolf as his guardian, and they get a draught of his blood to strengthen their line. His connection with Brant is immediate, and he knows Brantley will be the first guardian in maybe centuries who will match him need for need. Paul likes games of dominance, likes to put his guardians to the test. Brantley is pretty sure he doesn't even like men, let alone a vamp who's into whips and chains. Can Paul convince Brantley that they really are made for each other?
Thanks so much for having me, Sean! I really love to be in such good company.
