Another day, another blog
When I finished writing my book, The REAL Poop! A Cassandra Matthews Adventure, I thought my job was over.
Boy, was I wrong.
The fun is only beginning.
Yesterday I met with Cindy, the manager at one of our local book stores here in town. I'm going to be doing a book signing at her store in October, and she asked me to bring in a few copies of my book so she could set up a display.
We discussed the upcoming book signing, and decided to do a free book draw. I also want to either sew or crochet dolls in the likeness of my main characters, to do a separate draw for people who buy the book.
I designed a poster to advertise the draw, and I'm going to post it on bulletin boards around town.
I write for our local weekly paper, and my editor and friend said that she'd promote my book events, which is wonderful.
I wonder what tomorrow will bring?
