This snippet:    Jocelyn meets Richard under not-so-good circumstances.

"You're limping--" Richard began.
              "My father's worse off."
               "Jocelyn, please, stop and talk to me -- just for a minute. I need to know you'll be all right." His voice was thick and unsteady.
Jocelyn glanced at Keira. Her friend's expression narrowed with apprehension. Jocelyn couldn't accommodate his request, "I can't - My father needs to go home and I have to look after him."

A Lady Never Lies  is a time traveling steampunk romance and is book three in "The Windsor Diaries." Richard travels back in time to win Jocelyn's heart, but will she leave her ailing father?
