Where do I start… I contacted the Author as I met her through a book release. I told her I read to an elderly group, homeless shelter at a soup kitchen and for a women’s Abuse shelter. Well, she was cautioning me about different parts of the book, maybe not good for these type of groups , but it was too late as they were into it way to much. Especially the elderly group! Some were uneasy, some were questioning, some were nervous, some were even blushing. But most wanted to go back to their time in the story that they related to. I had much of the group standing up cheering and rooting for Kate or Derrick!
They were reliving what they remembered what it was like to be that age and what they went through, I couldn’t turn back. I wouldn’t of either, to see the hold they had on to memories that they were reliving was just axing, to see the sparkle , the sneers, the ah, yes I remember that times clearly! Then they were begging to hear more and hungering for their younger years. We were passed chapter 12, my time was up and they gave up exercising to have more.
The Author had brought life back into people who needed it!
The homeless people really got into it also, they went to places in their minds some can only dream of….. But were able to relate to it!
The abused women’s shelter thought it was not proper to read it to because of some delicate situations, but the women thought different , they felt the help and hope for them towards the middle and end of the book.
This Author, little did she know, has renewed, rejuvenated, thought provoked, pulled some good points into the light from the darkness, brought goodness to each and everyone that heard it.
Yes, there were questionable parts for each group, but that’s what’s great about her, she has touched all these peoples, heart, feelings, and most of all their souls! I applaud you and you have so many including this person, waiting for the next page turner to show up and out shine this last one.
From all of my groups, please hurry, we can’t wait!!!

I absolutely LOVE this review of Tainted Bodies, it is so perfect and spot on for what I wanted to convey with the beginning of this story!
