Sometimes We Just Need to Focus ~ Part II
The other day I posted the first of two parts to this blog. To read Part I, click on the purple columbine or here. In life, sometimes we look at things and are blinded by the the glow of opportunities. Other times, the tears of grief or tragedy fog our vision and make it hard to see. Then there are times when we get something in our eye that doesn't belong there and it makes it difficult to keep your eyes open and see. Our spiritual life can do the same thing. When we are reading the Bible every day, attending church regularly, and nurturing friendships with other believers...it's easier to recognize and appreciate all life has to offer. On a similar note, when we let life take over and stop opening our Bibles and talking with God...life gets blurry.
Rather than write a lot at you today, yesterday's devotional seemed to deliver the very message I've shared with you and planned to wrap up today. So instead of Lisa, listen to the words written by Sarah Young in her book, Jesus Calling.Have a great night and may we all maintain our clarity so life doesn't get blurry. #wsite-video-container-984742720144871094{ background: url(//www.weebly.comhttp://www.lisambuske.com/uploads/4/7/9/2/4792487/910303300298193218_435.jpg); } #video-iframe-984742720144871094{ background: url(//cdn2.editmysite.com/images/util/videojs/play-icon.png?1404338018); } #wsite-video-container-984742720144871094, #video-iframe-984742720144871094{ background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position:center; } @media only screen and (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 2), only screen and ( min-device-pixel-ratio: 2), only screen and ( min-resolution: 192dpi), only screen and ( min-resolution: 2dppx) { #video-iframe-984742720144871094{ background: url(//cdn2.editmysite.com/images/util/videojs/@2x/play-icon.png?1404338018); background-repeat: no-repeat; background-position:center; background-size: 70px 70px; } } How is your vision feeling? Blurry or clear...
