The Chocolate Challenge Stops By Stanley & Katrina's Blog

Erik Weibel, author of The Adventures of Tomato and Pea, and book reviewer extraordinaire, recently tagged me, (Felicia), to join The Chocolate Challenge. Erik is the wonder-kid who was in HuffPost Live's Tell Me Why Program with me, interviewing Mr. Rick Riordan. Not only is he one of the best book reviewers around, he is also a great author.
CharlesShulzChocolateQuote The goal of The Chocolate Challenge is to pair books with chocolates. Yippee, what a great combination! I decided to pair chocolates with a book series - four of my favorites that I didn't see tagged in Erik's post (we like many of the same books).
My Chocolate/Book Pairings

A Series of Unfortunate Events Chocolate Pairing

A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket with Dark Chocolate with Almonds
I think this is a good match because the book is very dark and mysterious (dark chocolate), and has lots of surprises (almonds).

The Mysterious Benedict Society Chocolate Pairing
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewartwith M&Ms
I matched these because there is TONS of adventure (chocolate) but has a bunch of fun in it too (candy coating).

Peeps Pic  is from CandyWarehouse.com

Nanny Piggins by R. A. Spratt with Chocolate Covered Peeps
I think this is a good match because the book is very funny, and has awesome illustrations (bird shaped marshmallow). Also, the main character has a LOVE for chocolate (chocolate).
The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place Chocolate Pairing
The Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place by MaryRose Wood withReese's Peanut Butter Cups
I matched these because the book is playful (peanut butter) but is also kind of serious (chocolate).

Who is next on the Chocolate Challenge? I am able to tag two awesome bloggers who are some of my top supporters:
