Last night my husband and I met friends to hear Cleve Jones http://www.clevejones.com/mainmenu.htm speak at UMass-Amherst. Cleve spoke a lot about what it was like to be gay in the 1970s and 80's, a time which is now part of history to students in the audience through the wonderful movie Milk.
