Alan Turing on the future

"We can only see a short distance ahead, but we can see plenty there that needs to be done."
Alan M. Turing (1950). "Computing machinery and intelligence." Mind, 59, 433-460.

If only that future had included many more years of Turing, and the products of his genius.

Theresa I had to force myself to stop in the middle of the second installment (damn errands) but this is absolutely wonderful! Thank you for posting it; I am both looking forward to finishing it and trying to "save" as much as I can for later, if that makes sense.

Jim Thanks Theresa. I'm glad our story presented you with this kind of dilemma! I hope you enjoy the rest when you get a chance...

Kam Yung Soh That was wonderful story. Thank you for writing it.

The Goodreads entry for the book is now up at [ https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... ].

Jim Thank you Kam-Yung. I appreciate the compliment and the help getting this listed. (I'm a rank amateur when it comes to working with Goodreads.)

Again, many thanks!

Kam Yung Soh Your welcome. Actually, I had nothing to do with getting the book listed on Goodreads. I just did a new search for it on Goodreads and the entry popped up.

Unfortunately, Goodreads doesn't appear to show who actually created the entry.
