Urgent: We’re running out of time

It used to be the only things you needed to fight back against the bad guys were some string, a shoehorn, an empty soda bottle, 4 oranges, a match head, a mirror, highly compressed gas, and a can opener.

But everything’s changed since the Supreme Court’s decisions in Citizens United and McCutcheon, which have allowed special interests to flood our elections with money and plaster our televisions with attack ads.

Now, only strong grassroots support from people like you can make the difference.

That’s why I’m asking you to contribute $5, $10, or whatever you can right now to my friend Al Franken’s campaign before his June 30th deadline.

I’m a Roseville, MN native, but you don’t have to be a Minnesotan to be proud of the work Al is doing in the Senate. He’s fighting for good jobs, to preserve net neutrality, and to protect Social Security and Medicare.

But the only way he’s going to be able to continue that work and fight back against these false attacks from the likes of Karl Rove and the Koch brothers is if he has you standing with him.
